Creative Mental Health Awareness Initiative is a 5o1c3 non-profit organization dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health through creativity. We host interactive events, peer support groups, and hands on workshops in the Charlotte area. Our mission is to make people aware of mental health related issues and how creativity can alleviate some of that pain. We are fully funded by community involvement and support. ***Please let me know if you need help getting inside. We are located in the visitor parking lot where Wet Willies and Club One are. There is parking available anywhere within the Music Factory. Once you arrive please enter building 1000. When you enter into the double doors walk straight into the other double doors and make a right. Look for INDUSTRY CO-WORKING. Tawba Walk Arts & Music Festival

The Tawba Walk Arts & Music Festival is set to Light Up the streets of Old Town Cornelius this spring! 

We're pulling out all the stops for this one, showcasing a mind-blowing lineup of talent on two stages, over 80 innovative artists & craftsmen, an entire fleet of food trucks, local craft breweries and SO much more! 

Tawba Walk XIII (yes, that's THIRTEEN!) features the region's top bands, artists, & performers in one action-packed community street festival! Take a stroll through Old Town and enjoy an abundance of activities with special sales and incentives from local businesses, sidewalk musicians, live art demonstrations, a TOTALLY AWESOME kids zone and even a little something for your furry friends, too! 

Whatever your heart desires... you'll find it at the 'Tawba Walk Festival! Come see for yourself on Saturday, April 29th from 2-8 pm and join the anthem the whole world can't stop singing... "Come on everybody... let's do THE 'TAWBA WALK!"

Come paint this relaxing mandala all while contributing to the Creative Mental Health Awareness Initiative fundraiser! We are a local charity in Charlotte dedicated to "painting" the stigma surrounding mental health and raising awareness through creativity. 

April is Stress Awareness month, so what a perfect way to spend the evening. This is about a 2 hour class, no skills needed & bar on site! 20% of the profits will go towards this charity night, so bring your friends!!!
